We must advocate against the sand pipeline that will turn Semaphore and Largs Bay beaches into a quarry...
ABOUT ME
I am a local resident at Largs Bay and am not a member of any political party.
I was born in Montana, where I enjoyed hiking and skiing. My love of nature and the outdoors made studying geology an easy choice. I have a Bachelor of Science in Geology, a Master’s degree in International Management and a graduate certificate in Data Science.
My work as an international manager, advisor and principal geologist for energy companies took me to many parts of the world to live and work. In 2012 I was recruited to work as Principal Geologist in Australia for Karoon Energy.
I was recognized by the Commonwealth in 2016 with the Distinguished Talent Permanent Visa for an internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in Geology. I became an Australian citizen in 2018.
In 2020 I settled in Largs Bay with my partner Mirella and our Kelpie cross Luna. Mirella and I chose Largs Bay because we love the natural beauty of our coast, the heritage of the built environment and the friendliness of the local community.
In 2022 I was elected as Councillor of Semaphore Ward for the City of Port Adelaide Enfield Council. My ward area includes the communities of Glanville, Exeter, Semaphore, Birkenhead, Peterhead, Largs Bay and parts of Largs North, a population of approximately 12,000.
I enjoy competitive track cycling and surfing and am passionate about the environment and my community.
I look forward to hearing from you on how we can make our community an even better place to live.
